Parts & Service
We understand that a major concern of our customers in the USA & Canada is the availability of parts & service to support equipment sold and installed in the field. We have developed a comprehensive strategy to support our customers in these areas as described below.
Parts
NCM has worked with JS Machine to ensure that machines will have commercially available electrical components and parts that can be locally sourced. In addition, we use 60Hz, 480V motors from SEW Eurodrive. A short list of brands that we use and work with includes: Siemens, Schneider, Lenze, ABB, and many more.
NCM also has a warehouse connected to our offices located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. We use the warehouse to stock items that are proprietary or harder to locate in the USA / Canada market.
Customers that purchase equipment from NCM also have the benefit of developing a customizable consignment parts list with our team. Typically, these parts on consignment would be for regular consumable wear items on the machine. This ensures the reduction or elimination of downtime due to regular wear items.
Service
NCM & JS Machine have a domestic service team that consists of both mechanical and electrical skilled personnel. These team members if not on the road, work out of the Hunt Valley, Maryland office.
NCM & JS Machine also have an international service team that consists of a much larger group of personnel to support specific geographic regions. This international team consists of the following (both mechanical and electrical):
- Converting Machine technicians
- Digital Printer technicians
- Corrugator technicians
- Material Handling technicians
Remote Service
The modern era of machinery downtime consists primarily of electrical component failures or issues. To address this, we have developed a very dynamic support system to support our customers with these types of issues remotely. Over 90% of these issues can be solved within 2 hours, which almost always is much faster than a domestic technician traveling to your facility. The remote service is available via machine internet connection as well as with software on local plant personnel cell phones for real-time interaction.
